Therapy for children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples and families
In a relationship, it may be difficult to manage life transitions while feeling connected to your partner. Couples may feel disconnected due to communication issues, lack of intimacy, infidelity, and addiction.
At Pathways to Growth, we view issues within the couple dynamic from a systemic approach by looking at the many layers impacting a couple. We have experience working with couples that are dating, engaged and have been married for many years. Our therapists provide a Prepare and Enrich assessment, evaluating a couple's strengths and growth areas. Prepare and Enrich is one of the most widely used programs for premarital therapy and education. It is also used for marriage therapy, couples enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement.
We also offer skills to assist couple's with managing conflict and intimacy issues by applying the Gottman Method approach to couples therapy. In addition, our therapists also use Emotionally Focused Therapy principles by exploring a couple's unmet attachment needs and interactional cycle leading couples to have the same argument over and over again.
