Therapy for children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples and families

Life is full of transitions and challenges that can lead to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and family problems.  You may feel frustrated, anxious, and disappointed leading to your desire to seek help.  I believe everyone needs a person that supports, advocates and listens to them.  As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate, I strive to build a space of acceptance and warmth to promote an environment of growth. I believe each individual has their own unique experiences and therefore, I adapt my therapeutic approach to fit the client's needs and goals.

I have a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University where I learned to view issues from a systemic approach by looking at the many layers impacting an individual, family and couple.  I use collaborative approaches including solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to foster change. I utilize attachment based approaches, emotionally focused therapy, and Gottman method therapy to facilitate change, improve communication, and foster intimacy in relationships. I have experience working collaboratively with couples at Pfeiffer Institute dealing with issues around communication, trust, and infidelity.  I am certified as a Prepare and Enrich Facilitator where I am able to offer an assessment evaluating a couple's strengths and growth areas.  I completed Gottman Level 1 Training where I learned skills to assist couple's with managing conflict and intimacy issues.  Also, I have experience working with individuals and family member's struggling with addiction.

I counsel adolescents, individuals, couples and families. I specialize in relational issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, boundaries, and grief.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Call or email me today to make an appointment
